We plan to visit, but don%26#39;t know how much time to allot for it. We are 2 adults. Approximately how long will it take to go thru it? Is it best to see Mt. Rushmore first or the museum first?
Borglum Museum in Keystone

We visited here and spent about an hour. We actually saw it before Mt. Rushmore, as we had a rainy day and were looking for indoor activities. Some of the museum is a repeat of what you will see at Mt Rushmore%26#39;s Visitor Center. Since we saw the Borglum Museum first, we actually focused more on the ';outdoor'; activities at Rushmore, such as the Presidential Trail and Lighting Ceremony at night. I loved the trail for the various views of Rushmore and found the Sculptor%26#39;s Studio quite interesting. You will spend much more time touring the monument than the museum in Keystone. I don%26#39;t think it would be hurt to see the museum first if you need a rainy day activity as we did.
