I%26#39;ll be traveling to Rapid City for business next week and plan to head up to Deadwood for a night or two. I%26#39;m a huge fan of prime rib and I%26#39;m looking for the best prime rib in either Rapid City or Deadwood...can somebody please point me in the right direction?
Best Prime Rib in Rapid City/Deadwood?
To me most Prime Rib is the same. It seems it is all pre-prepared and vacuum bagged by larger processors and then heated on order to the degree of doneness desired. I am not sure, in Deadwood anyway, if you will find complete from raw slow roasted Prime Rib. Many of the casino based restuarants have loss-leader Prime Rib specials which are surely heat and serve. Best chance for on-premise prepped in Deadwood would probably be the Gem Steakhouse at the Mineral Palace Hotel/Casino. Best chance there being busier nights like Fri-Sat.
