Pheasant Hunting
Bill,
As I am sure you are aware, private land is getting harder and harder to come by but not impossible. Lots of the farms near where we hunt are getting $100 per gun and up for the day.
One website that might be of help is,
www.southdakota-outdorrs.com
They have anumber of forum boards that you may ask about private land.
As far as public (CPR) goes I have a home in Eureka that we rent out by the day, week or month depending on the time of year. Pheasent time is always busy but if you are interested please PM me for more info.
6 bedroom home, dogs allowed, large fenced in dog area in the back of the home, game room and bar in the basement, bird cleaning station in the garage, $20 per head per night, sections and sections of CPR in McPherson, Campbell and Walworth county just minutes from our doorstep.
Last couple of years have been nothing less than incredible!

Thanks for the info, am very interested in your home in Eureka, are you full in the first couple of weeks of pheasant season? If not, when and how many vacances so you have?Where would I find info on the counties that you mentioned?
There are many private hunting lodges in Gregory, Lyman, Tripp counties of SD. Also, around Pierre, SD. The Holiday Inn Express in Winner,SD has a garage where you can put in your kenneled dog for the night. If you want, I could find out some names.
