date change in trip to Mt Rushmore.

we are going to go in mid July instead of 2wks from now. this way we have a week and can go see different things instead of a just a few.

Is there a better day and time to book flights and get better rates??

also, would anyone know what type car rentals businesses there are at the airport?

like to run this by you all just to get an idea of which may be better way to go.......

in order to go see old faithful too, we would have to drive with our rental, to there and stay the nite, go see all that, then drive back to keystone area and then see all the sites there, then, when its time to go home, we drop off car at RC regional and fly home.

i dont know if we should fly into wyoming 1st and do that , rent a car there then drive to SD and do all that, and fly home from RC regional, we have to drop off the car though and maybe the airports all have same rental companies and we can rent 1 way then drop off at another.... or just rent the car in SD and drive the 7hrs or what have you, to wyoming , see the sites stay over 1 nite then drive back to SD... hope im not confusing anyone. not afraid to drive and id rather see what we can in a week while out that way... so would it be better to fly to SD and get car and drive to wyoming stay a nite and tour around , drive back then spend rest of trip in keystone drop off car and fly home....???
